Higashimatsushima

Higashimatsushima City in Miyagi Prefecture is known for the beautiful coastline of Oku-Matsushima. The city is home to Matsushima Air Base of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, famous as the base for the Blue Impulse aerobatic team with their distinctive blue aircraft.
