Ogawara

Ogawara Town in southern Miyagi Prefecture is famous for the Hitome Senbonzakura (thousand cherry trees at a glance) that bloom along the Shiroishi River. The annual Ogawara Cherry Blossom Festival attracts many visitors who come to admire the stunning row of cherry trees along the riverbank.
