Iwanuma

Iwanuma City in southern Miyagi Prefecture is a historic town famous for Takekoma Shrine, one of Japan's three major Inari shrines. The Sennen Kibo no Oka (Thousand Years Hill of Hope), developed as a symbol of recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake, offers beautiful coastal views and represents hopes for reconstruction.
