Kurihara

Kurihara City is located in the northwestern part of Miyagi Prefecture, blessed with rich nature. The Ramsar Convention-registered Izunuma and Uchinuma wetlands offer bird watching opportunities, while Mount Kurikoma provides beautiful natural scenery throughout the four seasons. The city is also known for producing high-quality Kurihara rice.
