Hikari City, located in southeastern Yamaguchi Prefecture, is a coastal town known for the beautiful Nijigahama Beach with its white sand and green pines. It's also famous as the birthplace of Hirobumi Ito, Japan's first Prime Minister, and features cultural facilities like the Hikari Cultural Center.
