Iwakuni

Iwakuni City in Yamaguchi Prefecture is a historic castle town famous for the wooden Kintai Bridge, one of Japan's three most famous bridges. The city offers numerous attractions including the beautiful arched bridge over the Nishiki River, Iwakuni Castle on the mountaintop, sacred white snakes as natural monuments, traditional Iwakuni sushi, and summer cormorant fishing.
