Ōmihachiman

Omihachiman City in Shiga Prefecture is a historic city known as the birthplace of Omi merchants who were active during the Edo period. The city features beautiful townscapes along the Hachiman-bori canal, Azuchi Castle ruins associated with warlord Oda Nobunaga, and Vories architectural buildings from the Meiji era.
